**A browser planner for camper van conversions that shows the axle load while you drag the water tank**

SERBIA, September 2026 — VanPlot (vanplot.com), a 3D layout planner for DIY camper van conversions, is now publicly available. It runs in the browser, carries interior dimensions for 27 vehicles in 159 variants derived from manufacturer specs, and recalculates payload, front/rear axle split and centre of mass as furniture, tanks and batteries are moved around the van.

Self-builders typically plan a conversion on graph paper or in general-purpose CAD, neither of which knows what a Ducato's wall taper is or what a 100-litre tank behind the rear axle does to the load on it. VanPlot places components inside a real van body with snap guides, stacking and clearance checks, and adds a power budget (daily watt-hours against battery and roof solar) and an itemised cost estimate priced from what has been placed.

When the layout is done, the Build Sheet produces a cut list down to individual studs, 1:20 plan sheets, a 1:1 wall scribe template, wiring and water schematics and a 12-phase build-order checklist, bundled into one printable Build Pack. Layouts can be shared as links, remixed by others, or exported as a short replay reel of the van assembling itself.

VanPlot is made by one developer, Vladimir Šterjoski, who started it while planning his own van.

"I got tired of office work and started planning a van," he said. "None of the tools I tried could tell me whether a layout fits, what it weighs on each axle, or what it costs, so I made one. My own conversion isn't built yet. I'm planning it in here, and I work on it alone."

The trial is the full application, every van and feature, for 15 minutes of active editing time, with no card required; the plan stays saved and viewable after the timer ends. The licence is a single payment of $39 (€36) for the first 500 numbered seats, rising to $59 afterwards, with all future vehicles and features included. There is no subscription. A 14-day refund applies in full, and buyers keep their exports even if they have logged in. Every licence funds a tree seedling in the Deliblato Sands through Izobilje's Re:Generation project.
