I'm Vladimir. I got tired of office work and started planning a van. No tool I tried could tell me whether a layout fits, what it weighs on each axle, or what it costs. So I made one. I work on it alone.

Planning it meant graph paper, a spreadsheet, and a CAD program that treats a van like a house. None of them could answer the three questions I actually had: will it fit, what does it do to the rear axle, and what will it cost.

Then I tried the tools that exist: a desktop van planner that draws a picture and stops there, a subscription one that doesn't save your work on the free plan, and general CAD that knows nothing about vans.

None of them could answer the three questions I actually had. Will this layout fit in the van I'm looking at, with the wheel arches and the wall taper? What does a 100-litre water tank behind the rear axle do to the axle load? And what will the whole thing cost in plywood, batteries and cable?

So I built VanPlot. It runs in the browser. It has interior dimensions for 27 vehicles in 159 variants, derived from manufacturer specs. You drag furniture, tanks and batteries into the van and the payload, the front/rear axle split and the centre of mass update as you move things. The budget prices itself from what you placed. When the layout is done, the Build Sheet gives you a cut list down to individual studs, plan sheets at 1:20, wiring and water schematics, and a build-order checklist.

The trial is the full app for 15 minutes of editing time, and the plan stays saved afterwards. The licence is one payment, not a subscription, because a conversion takes a year or two and a yearly fee for that makes no sense to me. If it doesn't help, there's a 14-day refund and you keep your exports.
